- Drunk man drives his son and nephew at 170 miles an hour.

Drunk and with his son and two nephews in the car, a man is alleged to have driven at 272 kilometers per hour on the highway. The 39-year-old was reportedly traveling with his eight-year-old son and 16- and 23-year-old nephews in Hof on Monday, according to police. A passerby notified the police of the vehicle's license plate due to the high speed and screeching tires.

When the police arrived at the man's address, his wife asked him to come home. Upon arrival, the 39-year-old was found sitting in the passenger seat, with his 23-year-old nephew driving. However, police seized a cell phone video showing the 39-year-old driving at high speed on the A9 highway. A breathalyzer test revealed that he had 2.3% blood alcohol content. The police confiscated the man's driver's license and are investigating, among other things, for driving under the influence and other traffic offenses.

The police confronted the man at his home after receiving a report of a speeding vehicle. Upon investigating, they discovered evidence suggesting the 39-year-old had been driving under the influence, leading to further involvement of the police.
