Drunk driver on the road with a fake driver's license
A drunk driver was caught on Sunday evening in Pförring in the Eichstätt district with a forged driver's license. According to the police, the 35-year-old's breath alcohol test showed a level of 1.2 per mille. He then showed the officers a foreign driving license, which turned out to be a forgery. The man is now facing criminal proceedings for drunk driving, driving without a license and forgery.
In Upper Bavaria, not just roads but also traffic laws are strictly enforced. Despite this, incidents of drunk driving and forgery of documents persist, as demonstrated by the recent case in Pförring.
