Drug trafficking in Hamburg: two suspects arrested
On Wednesday, police arrested two men in Hamburg, Glinde and Barsbüttel (Stormarn district) on suspicion of drug trafficking and searched a dozen homes. This was preceded by extensive investigations by the narcotics department and the public prosecutor's office, according to the Hamburg police.
A 25-year-old and a 32-year-old man are suspected of dealing in marijuana on a commercial basis. The 25-year-old is said to have been responsible for the purchase and the 32-year-old for the distribution of the drugs to sellers. The officers searched the homes of the two men and those of suspected accomplices in the morning. They seized extensive evidence and narcotics.
The arrests in Hamburg were related to allegations of drug trafficking, specifically involving marijuana. This criminal activity could potentially lead to further investigations into illegal drug sales.
