The German Red Cross (DRK) draws a positive balance after five games at the Frankfurt Stadium during the Football European Championship. 711 volunteer forces from various Hessian DRK associations, under the command of DRK Frankfurt, provided assistance in approximately 175 cases. In addition, there were around 30 clinic transports from the stadium.

Besides the medical care and supervision of the female and male spectators as well as the players in the stadium, around 50 DRK volunteers were ready for deployment as so-called standby readiness in disaster control in the Frankfurt urban area in case of an emergency. At the Main riverbank fan zone, in addition to DRK Frankfurt, rescue and relief forces from ASB, the Johanniter Ambulance Service, the Maltese, and the DLRG on the water were responsible for the sanitary service. During the EM, around 450 relief workers were on site.

The President of the Hessian DRK Association, Norbert Sölder, and the Chairman of DRK Frankfurt, Walter Seubert, spoke of an "extremely peaceful event". At the same time, they thanked the volunteer forces for a smooth deployment and emphasized the successful cooperation of aid organizations and authorities.

  3. The Red Cross (DRK) Frankfurt, along with ASB, Johanniter Ambulance Service, Maltese, and DLRG on the water, provided extensive sanitary services at the Main riverbank fan zone during the European Football Championship.
  4. The DRK Frankfurt, leading 711 volunteer forces from various Hessian associations, was instrumental in managing around 175 cases and 30 clinic transports during the five games of the European Football Championship held in Frankfurt.
  5. Walter Seubert, the Chairman of DRK Frankfurt, expressed gratitude towards the volunteers and praised the collaborative effort of various aid organizations and authorities, making the European Football Championship in Frankfurt a safe and peaceful event.
