Traffic - Driver without a license flees 45 km from police

The driver first evaded traffic control at Wörth on the Isar river (Landkreis Landshut) on a Tuesday. Several patrols pursued him after that. The man ignored their flashing lights according to the police. He drove at an average of 140 to 180 km/h on the A92 to Oberschleißheim (Landkreis München). It is reported that he drove up to 230 km/h at times. In Oberschleißheim, the police were able to apprehend the 61-year-old man according to his own statements in a dead-end street.

During his arrest, the man offered resistance and was therefore handcuffed, it continued. The officers noticed that he did not have a valid driver's license. Several complaints have been filed against the 61-year-old man.

  1. The driver initially disregarded traffic rules in the District of Landshut, specifically at Wörth on the Isar river in Lower Bavaria.
  2. Subsequently, the man evaded patrols on the A92, driving at high speeds from Wörth to Oberschleißheim in Upper Bavaria.
  3. In defiance of the flashing lights from the pursuing police, the man continued to drive at an average of 140 to 180 km/h and even reached up to 230 km/h at times.
  4. After a chase, the police apprehended the 61-year-old man in a dead-end street in Oberschleißheim, Munich district, as per his own statements.
  5. During the arrest, officers discovered that the man did not possess a valid driver's license, and several complaints have been filed against him in Bavaria.
