Traffic - Driver turns off the main road: Several injured
Several people have been injured, some seriously, in an accident on a main road near Vaihingen an der Enz (Ludwigsburg district). According to police reports, a driver crossed the double center line without permission on Tuesday morning in order to turn off towards a country lane. He presumably overlooked an oncoming car. Both vehicles collided and were spun around their own axis due to the force of the impact. A total of four occupants of the two vehicles sustained minor injuries and one passenger sustained serious injuries. The police estimated the damage caused at 25,000 euros.
