Stade - Driver trapped in car during accident: woman resuscitated
A woman has suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision between two cars in the district of Stade. The 75-year-old was driving on the L140 towards Hamburg when, for reasons that were initially unclear, she drove into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an oncoming car, police said on Sunday.
The woman who caused the accident was freed from her car by the fire department and then resuscitated in the ambulance. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The 71-year-old driver of the oncoming car and his 68-year-old passenger were reportedly also taken to hospital for a check-up. The police are looking for witnesses who saw the accident.
