In Römhild, a 59-year-old driver lost control of his car during a risky overtaking maneuver, injuring two individuals. Last Monday evening, the older man tried to squeeze past multiple vehicles, including a bus, but his attempt went awry. Police reported that the vehicle swerved to the left, struck a guardrail, collided with the bus, and eventually crashed into a tree. The 59-year-old driver and his 38-year-old passenger sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital. Miraculously, the bus driver and his passenger did not sustain any harm. As a result, about 15,000 euros worth of damage was caused on the Landstraße 1131, near the entrance to the Milz district.
