Accident - Driver seriously injured after collision with tree
A 25-year-old person crashed their car head-on into a tree in the Augsburg district and sustained serious injuries. According to the police, the car veered off the road to the right between Graben (Lechfeld) and Schwabmüchen on a Friday, and flipped over multiple times.
The car reportedly hit the tree after approximately 80 meters. The seriously injured driver was taken to a clinic in an ambulance. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
The collision caused significant traffic disruptions in the district of Augsburg that day. Despite being in Bavaria's Swabia region, the incident drew attention from local authorities.
