Traffic accidents - Driver from Aachen dies in accident in Hesse
In a traffic accident on the A4 in Hessen, an 81-year-old driver from Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, was fatalely injured. The Osthessen Police Department announced this on Sunday. The senior's vehicle, for reasons yet unknown, left the road in a left curve between the interchanges Friedewald and Wildeck-Hoenebach on a rainy road. The car hit the median guardrail as a result. The impact caused the vehicle to be lifted into the air by a beginning guardrail, which then overturned several times and landed on its roof. A reanimation of the man by bystanders and emergency services was unsuccessful, the driver died at the scene of the accident.
