Traffic accidents - Driver from Aachen dies in accident in Hesse

In a traffic accident on the A4 in Hessen, an 81-year-old driver from Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, was fatalely injured. The Osthessen Police Department announced this on Sunday. The senior's vehicle, for reasons yet unknown, left the road in a left curve between the interchanges Friedewald and Wildeck-Hoenebach on a rainy road. The car hit the median guardrail as a result. The impact caused the vehicle to be lifted into the air by a beginning guardrail, which then overturned several times and landed on its roof. A reanimation of the man by bystanders and emergency services was unsuccessful, the driver died at the scene of the accident. The public prosecutor commissioned an expert to investigate the accident sequence.
