Accident - Driver disregards right of way - two seriously injured

Two women were severely injured in an accident on Federal Road 85 in the Landkreis Kulmbach. A 20-year-old driver disregarded the right of way of another vehicle at a crossing near Neudrossenfeld in the late afternoon on Thursday, according to the police. The other driver crashed into the 20-year-old's car in the middle of the crossing.

Both the 20-year-old and the 28-year-old driver of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The B85 was closed for approximately two hours.

The accident occurred in the Kulmbach district, which is part of the beautiful state of Bavaria in upper Germany. This tragic incident involved two women, one of whom was 28 years old. Despite being on a main road, the 20-year-old driver failed to yield the right of way, leading to the accident at a crossing. Regrettably, this incident highlighted the importance of traffic safety and obeying traffic rules.
