Driver dies in accident in Greiz district

A driver has died in an accident in Harth-Pöllnitz in the district of Greiz. For reasons as yet unexplained, the 46-year-old man drove off the road in the Burkersdorf district and collided with a bridge railing, police said on Monday.

Rescue operation - Driver dies in accident in Greiz district

A driver has died in an accident in Harth-Pöllnitz in the district of Greiz. For reasons as yet unexplained, the 46-year-old man drove off the road in the Burkersdorf district and collided with a bridge railing, police said on Monday.

Witnesses had alerted the emergency services to a traffic accident on the Anger on Sunday morning. Despite rescue efforts, the emergency services were only able to determine the 46-year-old's death.
