Driver dies after collision with school bus
A car driver has died in a collision with a school bus in Lower Bavaria. The 52-year-old disregarded the right of way of the bus when turning onto a state road in Rotthalmünster (Passau district) on Monday, according to the police. After the collision, the man's car was thrown into an adjacent field. The 52-year-old died of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the school bus, who was traveling without passengers, remained uninjured. The public prosecutor's office commissioned an expert to clarify the exact course of the accident.
