Driver dies after accident in Upper Franconia
A driver has died after an accident in Upper Franconia on Thursday. According to the police, the 66-year-old man drove off the road in Bayreuth, crashed into a roadworks barrier and finally came to a halt on the premises of a butcher's shop. The man died shortly afterwards in hospital. According to initial findings, the investigators assumed that a medical emergency was the cause of the accident.
The accident in Upper Franconia on Thursday involved traffic on a road in Bayreuth. Unfortunately, similar incidents can lead to increased traffic congestion in the area.
