Water - Drinking water contaminated in Hochstadt, Upper Franconia
In the Upper Franconian municipality of Hochstadt am Main (district of Lichtenfels), e-coli bacteria have been found in the drinking water. As the Lichtenfels district office announced on Thursday, residents of the municipality are only allowed to use boiled tap water. The contamination was discovered during a routine test. The boiling ban applies until further water analyses give the all-clear.
