Drinking water contaminated in Heiningen near Göppingen
Due to bacterial contamination of the drinking water in Heiningen (Göppingen district), the water there has to be boiled. This was announced by the district office on Thursday. It cannot be ruled out that the contamination was caused by the heavy rainfall of the past week. Chlorination is used to disinfect it and the pipe network.
