Dresdner SC, a German volleyball team from the Bundesliga, has just signed a new player. Marta Levinska, a Latvian national player currently playing for PTT SC Ankara in the Turkish First League, will join the team. She has signed a one-year contract with them.

DSC's coach, Alexander Waibl, spoke highly of Marta's ability as a diagonal attacker. He said he had been convinced of her talent from the beginning, and believes she has a lot of room for growth.

Marta started her career in her hometown of Riga. In 2020, she played for the Arizona State University in the USA. She was named Latvian Volleyball Player of the Year in 2021, and was the top scorer of the Baltic League during the 2019/20 season.

Levinska is now the sixth new addition to the DSC team, following the signings of Eva Zatkovic and Lorena Lorber Fijok (both Slovenian national players), Patricia Nestler (a DSC returnee), and Julie Lengweiler (a Swiss national player).
