Volleyball - Dresden volleyball players sign Emma Clothier
Volleyball Bundesligist Dresdner SC has signed US-Middle blocker Emma Clothier. The 23-year-old from first division team Pinkin de Corozal (Puerto Rico) signed a one-year contract along the Elbe. She hails from Corollton, Texas, and played for Florida State University's team until December 2023. In the USA as well as in Puerto Rico, she was repeatedly named best Middle blocker and best Spiker.
"Emma is an athletic, dynamic Middle blocker. She can attack both in front of and behind the setter, making her a versatile option," said DSC trainer Alexander Waibl.

Emma's new home in Germany is the Dresdner SC, situated in Dresden, Saxony. She will compete in the Bundesliga, known for its intense volleyball matches. Originating from Corollton, Texas, Emma previously represented Florida State University's volleyball team until December 2023. Recently, Emma was honored as the best Middle blocker and best Spiker not only in the USA but also in Puerto Rico.
