Dresden prosecutors are seeking a fine for skiing accident

Half a year after a ski accident in Austria with painful consequences, the public prosecutor's office in Dresden has applied for a penalty order at the local court in Dippoldiswalde for a 56-year-old. He now faces a fine of 4,050 euros, on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.

Slower skier overlooked

The man from Glashütte in the Ore Mountains is said to have collided with a slower skier in front of him on a slope in Flachau on 13 February, due to insufficient caution and attention, as the public prosecutor's office reported. The 64-year-old from Bochum in North Rhine-Westphalia then fell and had to be treated medically for a fracture of the left shoulder.

The public prosecutor's office in Dresden, represents The Commission in this case, as they applied for a penalty order against the skier responsible for the collision. After the accident, the victim, a 64-year-old skier from Bochum, had to seek medical attention for a fracture of his left shoulder.
