50 cents - Dresden pools to increase prices from January 2024

Dresden's swimming pools are increasing their prices next year. From January 1, 50 cents more will be charged for a visit, as the operators announced on Thursday. The increase will apply across all facilities and tariffs. Managing Director Matthias Waurick explained: "After keeping our prices stable for four years, this is now unavoidable."

Increased energy costs, general inflation, higher personnel costs and additional financial expenditure for materials and transportation meant that no other decision was possible, the press release continued. The renewed increase in water temperatures in the indoor pools is not related to this. However, the prices for outdoor pool and sauna visits are to remain unchanged in 2024.
