Shipping - Double call: Two cruise ships arrive in Wismar

Curious onlookers could observe the arrival of two large cruise ships in Wismar Harbor on a sunny Wednesday morning. The "Seabourn Quest" and the "Amera" came to their berths in the City Harbor and the Seaport, respectively, bathed in brilliant sunlight. The ships could still be seen until early evening. According to a city announcement, they were scheduled to depart around 6 pm.

The 198-meter-long "Seabourn Quest" is making its first stop in Wismar on its journey from Hamburg to Ronne in Denmark. The "Amera," which is 204 meters long, is also heading north. It comes from Kiel and is steering towards Copenhagen.

The "Seabourn Quest," during its voyage from Hamburg to Ronne in Denmark, made a stop in Wismar, a city in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. Prior to Wismar, the "Amera," a ship of similar length, had sailed from Kiel, also in the same federal state, and was en route to Copenhagen, Denmark. Both ships docked at Wismar Harbor and the Seaport, contributing to the local shipping activities in the region.
