Frankfurt's fresh recruit Arthur Theate is ready to step up for his first competitive outing with the Hessians in the inaugural match of the Bundesliga campaign. As per Frankfurt's head coach Dino Toppmoeller, prior to the clash with Dortmund on Saturday (6:30 PM/Sky), "Arthur certainly has a chance to secure a spot in the starting lineup."

The 24-year-old defensive prodigy joined Frankfurt on loan from French outfit Stade Rennes just a week ago. Toppmoeller is taking some time to process the impact of the final training session before making a decisive call on Theate's inclusion.

In the offensive segment, Hugo Ekitiké is tipped to be in the starting XI. His impressive two-goal, one-assist performance in Frankfurt's 4:1 victory against Braunschweig in the DFB-Pokal first round has earned him the coach's nod. "Ekitiké has the upper hand," confided Toppmoeller.

Toppmoeller encouraged his squad to show courage against Dortmund, expressing confidence in Borussia's capabilities. "Those who have witnessed Dortmund's reinforcements can foresee BVB's season objectives without needing the expertise of a nuclear physicist," he said.

Despite the strong competition for a spot in the starting lineup, Arthur Theate's impressive form during training could potentially secure him a place in the Football league's opening match against Dortmund for Frankfurt. The Bundesliga league's inaugural campaign promises to be a challenging test for both Frankfurt and Dortmund, with the latter also boasting impressive reinforcements.
