- Dortmund agree with Manchester on Couto loan
Manchester City's defensive player Yan Couto's switch to Borussia Dortmund on loan is reportedly a done deal, according to Sky. The English football champions and the BVB have supposedly reached an agreement. Couto is set to fly from Brazil to Switzerland this Thursday, where the Dortmund team will be preparing for the new Bundesliga season in Bad Ragaz from Thursday until August 9th.
Sky reports that Couto could join his new teammates on the pitch in Bad Ragaz as early as this week. The 22-year-old Brazilian had previously spent two seasons on loan at FC Girona near Barcelona. According to Sky, this transfer is a loan deal with an obligation to buy for 25 million euros.
The Borussia Dortmund squad will welcome Yan Couto this week, as the German Bundesliga team has secured his loan transfer from Manchester City. Following his successful loan spell at FC Girona, Couto is set to contribute to Dortmund's competitive season in the German Bundesliga.
