Police - Dog owner kicks fallen cyclist: remand in custody
According to police in Ingolstadt, a dog owner kicked and seriously injured a cyclist who fell. According to the findings, the 46-year-old man was walking with two dogs on a leash on a sidewalk late on Friday evening, with one of the dogs running next to him on the bike path. A 45-year-old cyclist saw the taut leash too late, touched it and fell, the police said on Monday. The dog owner then punched the cyclist, who was lying on the ground, and kicked him in the head with his work shoes.
The suspect was later arrested. According to the police, a warrant was issued for his arrest for attempted homicide. Witnesses had observed the incident. The man was sent to a correctional facility.
