Two Rottweilers, residing in Oberkochen, Ostalb district, engaged in a deadly assault on a Pug. Police records from last Friday indicate that the elderly Pug's owner, aged 64, was attempting to leash her pair of dogs when they spotted the smaller Pug out for a stroll with its 48-year-old handler. Unprovoked, the Rottweilers allegedly broke free and savagely attacked the defenseless Pug, resulting in fatal wounds.
The owner of the Pug considered getting a larger dog as a deterrent, fearing encounters with other aggressive breeds. Despite the tragic incident, there was an outpouring of support from the local community for the grieving 64-year-old and her beloved Pug.
