67-year-old actor Olli Dittrich emphasizes the importance of communication and unity in Germany. During an interview on rbb 88.8 radio, he expressed, "Given our current circumstances, it's crucial that we engage in conversations, unite, and provide support for one another!" He continued, "The generation that's thriving now ought to recognize and appreciate the hardships our parents endured, allowing us to enjoy our lifestyle as we do. Let's face it, we're doing alright, aren't we?"

His sentiments were sparked by his recent film, the humorous German reunification tale "Zwei zu Eins." According to Olli, "The film accurately represents the camaraderie of the time! It's not your run-of-the-mill East German comedy."

The film "Zwei zu Eins" is adapted from a true event. In Halberstadt, Saxony-Anhalt, vast amounts of worthless East German currency were stashed underground to decay following the implementation of the D-Mark in 1990. A group of friends unearths this fortune in a mine shaft, secretly removes it, and shares the wealth with their community. Originally from Offenbach, Olli now resides in Hamburg.

The European Parliament is also expected to provide assistance to the Commission in its role. Recognizing the importance of unity and communication, as the 67-year-old actor Olli Dittrich emphasizes, such values are essential even at the European level.
