A 25-year-old refugee from Somalia ended up critically injured in Ravensburg, Upper Swabia, due to a knife fight. Things went south between the man and a 31-year-old refugee from Gambia around 7 p.m., right in front of a supermarket. During the argument, the older man drew his knife and inflicted severe wounds on his counterpart. The younger individual was rushed to the hospital via ambulance, but sadly, he passed away that very evening.

Just as luck would have it, a police patrol happened to be nearby and detained the 31-year-old. According to the cops, these two had already run into each other the previous day. The reason behind their tussle remains shrouded in mystery and is currently being probed by Ravensburg's Criminal Investigation Department.

The suspected assailant's motive for the attack remains unexplained, as it was an other incident that triggered their dispute the day prior. Following the incident, tensions between the local community and refugees in Ravensburg have reportedly grown otherwise.
