The culprit didn't show any mercy towards the two young kids of the homeowner, who were just 9 and 5. According to the authorities, he even hit them. In response, the 46-year-old husband and the 15-year-old son tried to intervene, leading to a physical scuffle between them.

During the altercation, the men and the teenager ended up throwing punches at each other. The critically injured 44-year-old woman and her young son were rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, the two children only suffered minor injuries. The 23-year-old offender was also agitated and was arrested by the police.
