Following an altercation between two groups of young men aged between 17 and 24 in Schwerin, the police have initiated criminal proceedings for, among other things, dangerous bodily harm and violation of the Weapons Act. According to the findings, three young men initially passed a larger group in a car late on Tuesday evening, as the police announced on Wednesday. According to the report, a 19-year-old from the group hit the car and damaged it. According to the information, the car initially drove on, but was then pursued by the group.
The 19-year-old, who had already hit the vehicle earlier, reportedly pulled out a soft air pistol and threatened the occupants. Two other members of the group reportedly had a machete and a pepper spray with them.
The men from the car got out, one of them had a telescopic baton with him, another had pepper spray. The latter was sprayed in the direction of the group. Two of those involved suffered slight irritation. The groups then left each other.
