- Discussing the fluctuation in burst change: the back-and-forth was energy-draining.

German defensive player Jonathan Tah found the transfer rumors surrounding him draining. "I'd be dishonest if I said it wasn't taxing. After all, it's the players who have the least influence over what goes down," the Leverkusen defender shared with Sky TV following the 2-3 defeat against RB Leipzig: "You bet it gets stressful when there's so much speculation. In the end, I accept it."

Tah was keen on moving to Bayern Munich during the summer break. Unfortunately, the two clubs couldn't come to an agreement on Tah's transfer terms, as he was still under contract with Bayer until 2025. For the 28-year-old, the issue seems to have been put to bed: "I'm completely devoted here. I'm not one to dwell on the past. I'm looking to the future."

At the same time, Tah stressed his contentment in Leverkusen. "I've never indicated I feel uneasy here. Quite the opposite: I'm incredibly content here. I've been incredibly content here for the past nine years."

Tah's interest in joining FC Bayern Munich during the summer break was not realized due to contractual issues. Despite the speculation, Tah is fully committed to his current club, Bayer Leverkusen.
