Mystery assailants have struck twice in the Börde district, sticking on stickers that concealed sharp Edge Tools. The stickers were spotted on a traffic sign in Weferlingen, as per the police's report. On August 21st, pupils at a nearby school in Oebisfelde spotted similar stickers on a street light. The authorities issued a warning that tampering with the ready stickers could lead to serious wounds.
In both instances, the stickers featured the emblem of the football club Eintracht Braunschweig. Investigations are ongoing to establish if these incidents are related. The authorities have initiated proceedings for alleged dangerous harm to the physique.
The sticker found on the traffic sign in Weferlingen was identical to the one on the street light in Oebisfelde, both displaying road signs. The authorities advised the public to be cautious when approaching any unusual stickers on road signs or street lights.
