In a residential blaze at an apartment complex in Neuss, a 77-year-old gentleman bid farewell to his life. As per the police announcement, the corpse was identified by emergency responders during fire suppression efforts on a Saturday night in the kitchen of the apartment.
As a fire department spokesperson revealed, this was a confined blaze in an attic unit. Due to the prompt arrival of the firefighters, there was no danger of the fire expanding to other dwelling units.
