Medications - Discovered: Apartment housing more than 800 marijuana plants as a plantation.
Darmstadt's police force has recovered 816 marijuana plants and around 10 kilos of the substance during a raid in Lingenfeld, as announced by the Südhessen Police Headquarters on Wednesday. This action was taken as part of an ongoing Belgian investigation. The suspects had transformed three out of four rooms in the house into a sophisticated indoor cannabis farm, complete with lamps, air filters, and irrigation systems. The person who lived there and another man, suspected of taking care of the plants, were both taken into custody.
In connection with this investigation, authorities also searched an apartment in Bürstadt and arrested its occupant. There, they discovered several grams of marijuana, €2400 in cash, and equipment believed to have been utilized in the drug trade. Both locations had their mobile phones and laptops seized as well. The three men are currently being held in custody and are facing charges for their alleged participation in large-scale, unauthorized narcotics trafficking.
