Christopher Nolan's biopic Oppenheimer, which brings home seven Oscars and grossed over $900 million at the box office, is a must-see for serious cinema lovers. You could also check out the newest season of The Boys if you're fond of a smart spin on superheroes. For fans of Celine Dion, the original Prime documentary I am: Celine Dion will be a treat. Written by and starring the incredibly talented Tina Fey, this modern-day interpretation of the beloved 2004 film adds original songs to the teen comedy genre. Godzilla Movie Marathon

When I think of Godzilla, it's the 1960s and 1970s that come to mind, but there's more to the Godzilla cinematic universe than those low-budget films with men in rubber suits from five decades ago: There are some more recent low-budget films with men in rubber suits! In June, Prime offers eight Japanese Godzilla movies released between 1999 and 2004, including "Godzilla Vs. Spacegodzilla" (1999), "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla" (2004), "Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah" (1999), and "Godzilla, Mothra, And King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack" (2003). All of these, I'm told, are outstanding.

Streaming starts on June 1.

Last month's picks

The Idea of You

"The Idea of You" is a romantic comedy based on the novel by Robinne Lee, which began as Harry Styles fan fiction. Anne Hathaway portrays Solène, a 40-year-old single mom who, while at Coachella, unexpectedly falls in love with Hayes, the 24-year-old singer of the band August Moon playing on the main stage. With an impressive 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, this film is celebrated for Hathaway's tremendous acting, the romantic chemistry between the lead characters, and its lighthearted, character-driven humor.

Streamed from May 2.

All That Heaven Allows (1955)

To complement the release of "The Idea of You," Prime is adding an earlier examination of the romance between older and younger partners: "All That Heaven Allows," a 1955 film in which Jane Wyman plays a wealthy widow defined by the opinions of her disapproving children and stuffy country club members. Rock Hudson is the attractive young landscaper she falls in love with. When initially released, the movie was considered a well-crafted romantic drama. However, it was later revealed that director Douglas Sirk was satirizing 1950s middle-class customs and Hollywood romantic conventions.

Streaming starts on May 1.

Outer Range, season 2

With its premise reminiscent of Western TV shows, "Outer Range" finds Josh Brolin as Royal Abbot, a Wyoming rancher fighting to protect his land. However, the series takes an unexpected turn towards the supernatural when Abbot discovers a peculiar, round hole on his property and otherworldly events surround his ranch. The first season of "Outer Range" left many questions unanswered, so hopefully, the answers provided in season 2 will live up to the hype of the plot.

Remember the reality show "The Outlaws" from 2004, where washed-up celebrities lived together to see what would happen? "The GOAT" feels like a homage to those good old days. Dabbling in French magical-realist cinema, Amazon FreeVee will stream 'Amélie' in May. Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, this film showcases an introverted Parisian waitress named Amelie (Audrey Tautou) with her peculiar pastimes.
