At a Discounter in Dingolfing (Dingolfing-Landau district), four people have been lightly injured. They suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning, said a spokesperson of the Niederbayern Police Headquarters on Saturday evening. The fire was reported at around 4:50 pm, and the firefighting efforts were completed around 1.5 hours later. The building is no longer usable, and there has been "a significant building damage." The fire is believed to have originated from a storage room.

Regarding the extent of the damage and the cause of the fire, there were initially no information. As to whether the injured persons were customers or employees of the Discounter, the spokesperson initially made no statements.

The Discounter store, located in Dingolfing, Bavaria, is the location where the incident occurred. Despite the fire in Lower Bavaria, which started in a storage room and led to carbon monoxide poisoning of four individuals, resulting in light injuries, further details about the extent of the damage and whether the affected individuals were customers or employees are yet to be disclosed.
