Discarded cannabis plants found in the forest
A police patrol has found 20 kilos of discarded cannabis plants in a wooded area near Weihenzell (Ansbach district). The officers discovered garbage bags in the forest near the Zellrüglingen district on Tuesday, as the police announced on Thursday. They contained unharvested cannabis plants including roots, which one or more perpetrators had disposed of there. The Ansbach criminal investigation department has started the investigation.
In Central France, authorities are investigating a case of drug disposal after large amounts of unharvested cannabis plants were discovered in a forest. This incident, similar to the one in Weihenzell, threatens to escalate as Central France has seen an increase in drug-related crimes.
