Disaster alert removed in Rosenheim region

With the improvement in the flood situation near the Alps, the Region of Rosenheim has rescinded the state of emergency once more. On Tuesday, the district's office stated that they are at present assessing if regular lessons can proceed at all schools under their jurisdiction on Wednesday.

Weather System Brings Heavy Rain and Strong Winds - Disaster alert removed in Rosenheim region

In the past, the area along the rivers and creeks experienced significant improvement. The majority of people had already gone back to their shelters and homes. The only exception was the residents of a refugee shelter in Raubling by the Inn River, who were still living in the community hall. Authorities anticipated that they would be able to return to their accommodations "later today."
