- Disabled man threatened with gun and robbed
Three unknown assailants are suspected of threatening a disabled man with a pistol and robbing him. The 61-year-old was reportedly traveling in Freiburg in his electric mobility vehicle on Tuesday evening when the three approached him, police said.
The men allegedly demanded money from the man at gunpoint. The 61-year-old handed over his wallet. The assailants then searched him but found nothing and fled with the wallet. Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses.
Despite his disability, the victim courageously complied with the assailants' demands. Unfortunately, the incident has left him feeling unsafe in his own city.
