The leader of the Association, Wolfgang Schubert-Raab, called for immediate changes in the legal framework to make it more cost-effective, efficient, and less bureaucratic. The government, states, and municipalities should not reduce their funding. Out of every two road construction companies, one evaluates their current situation as unfavorable, forecasting lower revenue than the previous year.
