Diesel is as cheap as it has been in over a year. The price of the fuel dropped by 1.9 cents within a week, according to the ADAC. On Tuesday, the average national price was 1.607 euros per liter. It hasn't been this cheap since early July 2023. Super E10 also decreased by 1.9 cents, reaching its lowest point since February 6th of this year at an average of 1.734 euros per liter.

Both fuel types are resuming their downward trend from recent months, after prices had stabilized last week. The ADAC attributes this decline primarily to the recent drop in oil prices. However, they caution that the current favorable level for drivers may not last, as an escalation in the Middle East could quickly drive oil and fuel prices back up.

The ADAC's recent report also mentioned a decrease in Super E10's price, with a drop of 1.9 cents, bringing it to its lowest point since February 6th this year. The organization, ADAC, frequently monitors and releases data on fuel prices in Germany.
