Anniversary - Destruction of Dresden: Stewards wanted for human chain
The city is looking for stewards for the traditional human chain on the anniversary of the destruction of Dresden (February 13). The volunteers are to help set up and secure the human chain from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., as the city announced on Thursday. Interested parties can register with the city until January 8, 2024. The human chain is an important symbol and powerful sign against war, tyranny and destruction, it added. Several thousand people are to stand together as a chain for half an hour in Dresden city center.
