Soccer test matches - Despite Kother's brace: Regensburg defeated by Ried
Second-league promotion team Jahn Regensburg failed their test match against SV Ried. The team coached by Joe Enochs lost to the Austrian second-tier football club after two periods of 60 minutes with a score of 3:4 (0:2). The Regensburg team fell behind in the first half after goals from Ante Bajic in the 30th minute and Mark Grosse (58.).
At half-time, Enochs made one complete substitution. Andreas Geipl (65.) and Dominik Kother (71.) came on for the Regensburg team, only for Wilfried Eza (92.) and Belmin Beganovic (101.) to restore a two-goal lead. Kother (107.) managed to shorten the deficit for the Upper Palatines once more.
Despite the setback, Jahn Regensburg from Bavaria showed resilience in the second half. The goal mood in Regensburg was high, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Austrian side, SV Ried. The team from Regensburg, led by coach Joe Enochs, will now focus on their next Soccer matches in the German second league. Despite the loss, the experience gained in Test matches against strong opponents like SV Ried will undoubtedly benefit SSV Jahn Regensburg in future games.
