Heavyweight - Despite hand fracture in training: Boxer Huck with comeback victory

The former box world champion Marco Huck explained his modest performance during his comeback win on Saturday evening in Berlin with an injury to his right hand. "Most people don't know this: I broke my right hand in training. And despite the broken hand, I didn't want to disappoint my fans," the 39-year-old said after his points victory over the Greek Evgenios Lazaridis (36) and thanked his fans for their support at the Estrel Convention Center.

Huck returned to the boxing ring after almost four years of absence. Until early 2017, he held a WM title in the cruiserweight category, now the veteran is trying again in the heavyweight division.
