Music festival comes to an end - Departure at the Fusion Festival - around 79,000 visitors
At the Music and Theatre Festival Fusion in Lärz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, according to the police, approximately 79,000 visitors were on the festival grounds during peak times in the past few days. Thousands of people have already left, the police reported. There are corresponding departure control checks.
Over 16,700 female and male visitors came to the festival with their own means of transportation. Thousands of Festival guests came in 1500 buses from all over Europe. The departure is supposed to still be running until Tuesday, it was reported. During the Fusion operation, 69 reports have been taken so far, including 40 times for driving under the influence of drugs and 17 times for violations of the Narcotics Law.
Missing Festival Participant on Friday
In the mobile police stations, reports were taken for approximately offenses such as property damage, attempted bodily harm, theft, and attempted sexual harassment. In addition, a missing Festival participant was found outside the grounds on Friday during a search using a helicopter and a search dog team. He was taken to the hospital for medical treatment due to drug consumption.
