Denstädt reports after Justice Ministers' Conference
Thuringia's Justice Minister Doreen Denstädt (Greens) wants to report today (1.00 pm) on the resolutions passed by the heads of department of the federal states. Last Friday, the conference of justice ministers passed a resolution against the anti-Semitic terror of Hamas in Israel and for the consistent protection of Jewish life through criminal law in Germany.
According to Denstädt, the meeting provided important impetus for the protection of the rule of law. The Conference of Justice Ministers wants to examine how Jews in Germany could possibly be better protected against anti-Semitic hostility. At the weekend, notes were burnt in front of the New Synagogue in Erfurt in memory of the people of Israel. Two asylum seekers from Libya are suspected of the crime.
The German government, through the Justice Ministers' Conference, has passed a resolution against the anti-Semitic terror of Hamas in Israel and advocates for strengthening the protection of Jewish life using criminal law. Denstädt, as Thuringia's Justice Minister, emphasized that the meeting provided a significant boost for upholding the rule of law and enhancing Jewish security in Germany.
