Declining Water Depth - Deggendorf's district rescinds emergency warning.
The recent significant flood incident has reiterated the need for increasing flood protection measures, stated District Administrator Bernd Sibler during the lifting. "My heartfelt gratitude to those who helped ensure our region sustained less damage."
Following the removal of the disaster status in Kelheim and Straubing, as the Danube was no longer anticipated to reach the level 3 warning threshold, several other districts and municipalities continue to maintain theirs.
