German top-flight league - Defender Geschwill joins Holstein Kiel from Sandhausen.
22-year-old defender Max Geschwill has been recruited by Bundesliga team Holstein Kiel from SV Sandhausen. The deal was made public on Monday. The terms of the transfer fee and contract duration remain undisclosed.
Geschwind played 31 matches for Sandhausen last season and was previously in the training program at top-flight rival TSG Hoffenheim's youth academy. Kiel's current coach Marcel Rapp was in charge of training Geschwind during that time. The young player is capable of playing in the center defense and the defensive wingback position.
