Data analysis and interpretation - Decrease in Traffic Accidents and Injuries Woods Beginning of the Year

From January to March, the number of injuries and deaths on the streets of Saxony-Anhalt decreased by around 13% compared to the same period last year. The State Statistical Office in Halle reported that there were fewer accidents, from 2022 to 1757, resulting in 21 fatalities and 284 severely injured individuals - a decrease from 23 and 342 respectively. Plus, there were fewer cases of minor injuries compared to last year. The police recorded 14,571 road traffic accidents in the first three months of 2023, which was 5.7% less than during the same period in the previous year.
