Decrease in profitability from medical practices in Germany, attributed to increased operational costs for doctors.

Based on statistical analyses, the costs associated with medical services in Germany escalated quite notably by 11% to reach 466,000 euros per practice in 2022. Contrariwise, the revenue surge to 796,000 euros, garnering a 5.3% increase, wasn't as dramatic, resulting in a decrease in profit margin.

Much like medical practices, dental and psychotherapeutic services also experienced a decline in net income in 2022. Dental practices encountered a substantial 13.5% drop in net income, settling at 243,000 euros per practice, despite witnessing higher expenses with revenues largely staying the same. Psychotherapeutic practices also suffered a 3.3% decrease in net income, landing at 88,000 euros.

Despite the rise in expenditures for dental services, the revenue increase was not sufficient to offset this, leading to a significant decrease in dental practice profits. This trend of increasing expenditure and stagnant revenue growth also contributed to the decreased net income for psychotherapeutic practices.
