Process - Dead senior citizens in Schwäbisch Hall: verdict expected
The verdict is expected today, Friday, in the murder trial over the deaths of senior citizens in Schwäbisch Hall. The public prosecutor is demanding a life sentence for the 32-year-old defendant and a finding of particularly serious guilt. The defense had requested that the defendant be sentenced to no more than twelve years in prison for aiding and abetting at most.
In December 2022 and January 2023, the man allegedly brutally beat two elderly women to death in and near Schwäbisch Hall, one of them with a hammer. According to the indictment, the man from Serbia gained access to the homes of the elderly women and suddenly attacked them. The man is also said to have threatened and beaten an 83-year-old man from the region at his front door. The case caused a great deal of fear in the region.
